The Chic Set (The Knocks x RAC x Passion Pit)

This is a test post by that mean I am dropping some serious indie–funky-synth-electro rock on you fools. First up I have the newest jam by The Knocks that bangs as hard as electro synth rock does. Then RAC’s new track is a little slower but just as funky and infectiously danceable. Last but certainly not least is Passion Pit’s new fire which brings me back to Freshmen year of college like no other. It’s pretty much “Sleepyhead” meets Modest Mouse meets Fun…it’s that goodness.

Techno Tuesday: Merry Chrismukkah

My techno game was somewhat distracted by my never ending finals (yes they are still going on for me), but I bring to you some dope tracks with a nice balance of electro/house and dubstep with my usual party techno bangers. Definitely hit up these tracks tonight as you attend a house party or maybe the city to catch up with your high school friends and I will provide the music while trying to finish this never ending school year…so this is what Drake is always talking about

“Dancing with the DJ (Chiddy Bang Remix)” by The Knocks

Fresh on Campus

The release of Chiddy Bang’s debut album The Swelly Life has been pushed back several times because of issues getting licensing clearance for their sample-heavy beats. I’m not sure whether the trickle of songs that have been coming out recently were originally intended for that album or not, but I’m guessing EMI would be breathing fire on us if they were.

Anyways, new music from the duo and it is just as hot as you’d expect it to be.
