“Love Letter” by Shwayze Feat. The Cataracs & Dev

Shwayze and The Cataracs come together to make a sickk summer jam in the traditional chill, laid-back Shwayze style. This is the kind of jam that makes you just wanna chill by the beach all day with a Corona and catch some rays…real talk.

“Turnt 4 Da Weekend” by The Cataracs ft. Dev

This track definitely has a little bit of a different spin than I am used to hearing from The Cataracs but this is still real hot. They kill the production per usual and continue to impress me. Definitely feeling this track, and I love hearing more from these talented dudes.

“Wet (Prod. The Cataracs)” by Snoop Dogg

Fresh on Campus

There is so much innuendo in this song I can barely handle it.

When I saw Snoop Dogg and The Cataracs together on a track, my mind started racing through all of the possible outcomes. Is it a fast-paced party jam? A heavy-hitting banger? A meant-for-radio pop song? It ended up being a little more mellow than I would have expected, but its still a hot grinding track.

Hopefully this collaboration happens again and again and again until they’ve exhausted all of the outcomes I had in mind. That would be somethin…

“Play it on the Radio” by Aaron Smith ft. The Cataracs

Fresh on Campus

So after a long weekend of travel, I was looking forward to putting my feet up and watching the VMAs tonight, but US Airways had other ideas.

So I’ve been hanging out in Laguardia all afternoon and decided to pay for the wifi so I could start catching up on all the new music that dropped this weekend. VMAs are tonight at 9pm EST on MTV and apparently you can follow along on MTV.com for extras.

Oh and here’s some new stuff from Shwayze and The Cataracs. Dope.

“Chillin” and “Top of the World” by The Cataracs

Heres some pretty new Cataracs tracks that I’m feeling. I love the versatility these guys bring. Their transitioning of genres from hip-hop, to electro hip hop, to techno and even acoustic seems seamless. Did I mention their production is also top-notch. The first song is a nice hip-hop track featuring Ya Boy and the second is definitely a sick club techno banger. What can I say, I’m impressed.
