“No Sleep” by Wiz Khalifa

Party banger by my boy Wiz off of Rolling Papers which is dropping in a week. Shit is crazyyy catchy and feels real nice. Is it just me or is Wiz getting his Rebecca Black on? Long hair don’t care cause the boy is killing it Friday, Saturday, Sunday and even Monday…every week is a long weekend for this guy ya dig.
Also here’s a nice track off of Snoop’s upcoming album The Doggumentary. These Mary Jane enthusiasts collab and create a good-feel catchy track…love tooo.

R.I.P. Nate Dogg

I’m gonna miss you Nate Dogg. Before there was T-Pain or Akon you were hip-hop’s go-to hook man. When I was back in seventh and eighth grade doing my thing with the ladies at Teen Center I would be lying if I didn’t say I took for granted your vocal abilities that collaborated with the likes of Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Ludacris, and 50 Cent. You were killing it and I just didn’t understand. But when I grew up and saw the likes of Akon and T-Pain who on a daily basis take advantage of the fact they can make a chart-topping song by singing four lines, I realized I had made a mistake. Not to take away from Akon and T-Pain who I totally respect as artists, but Nate Dogg made it cool to sing in hip-hop at a time where the genre was at it’s toughest. He made it ok to spark a light in a subject that was full of darkness. Before you know where your’re going you need to know where you are coming from. So to all the established hook-men of today and all you up-and-comers take a second of your day to reflect on the career of Nate Dogg and what he has done to better hip-hop. R.I.P. Nate Dogg, you will be missed.

“Black & Yellow (G-Mix)” by Wiz Khalifa ft. Juicy J, Snoop Dogg & T-Pain

After almost every rapper in the game tried to hop on this track and make a rework, Khalifa drops the OFFICIAL G-Mix featuring Juicy J, Snoop Dogg & T-Pain. Not sure how T-Pain snuck into the line-up, but its still a dope track with a new verse from Khalifa.
If you still don’t have the original version of one of the hottest songs of 2010, catch up.

“Wet (Prod. The Cataracs)” by Snoop Dogg

There is so much innuendo in this song I can barely handle it.
When I saw Snoop Dogg and The Cataracs together on a track, my mind started racing through all of the possible outcomes. Is it a fast-paced party jam? A heavy-hitting banger? A meant-for-radio pop song? It ended up being a little more mellow than I would have expected, but its still a hot grinding track.
Hopefully this collaboration happens again and again and again until they’ve exhausted all of the outcomes I had in mind. That would be somethin…

“All I Do is Win (Sleeper Mix)” by DJ Khaled
It probably would have been a slightly better track if Sleeper had stuck with the first sample all the way through, but this track is still HOT! Shouts to WFGC.

“Welcome to the World of Plastic Beach” by Gorillaz ft. Snoop Dogg

This track came out back in March on the Gorillaz latest studio album, but I just discovered it driving back from the airport late last night. It’s got a real chill, trippy vibe. I’m kinda interested to see how FOC nation feels about this type of track, so give it a listen and hit the thumbs to cast your vote.

“Are You That Somebody? (Brenton Duvall Remix)” by Aaliyah

Alright so even though Brenton has been on point with his remixes thus far, when I saw that he did a remix to this timeless Aaliyah jam I had my doubts. Yet when I heard it in my opinion I feel like he did a really good job creating a completely different and unique sound to this absolute 90′s R&B classic.
Props to PNP for the good looks

Also, if your feeling this dude’s sound check out his great remix to That Tree that he mashed with The xx’s “VCR”:
