“Shangri-La” by Skizzy Mars
New new from one of everyone’s favorite new rappers. The beat on this one is dope and just makes me more and more eager for the release of his album Phases,, shit is going to be crazy. Here is what Skizzy had to say about “Shangri-La”:
I was in the studio last night when I realized I had just hit 10,000 fans. I’ve been writing a bunch of music recently as I continue to work on my debut project, Phases. While Phases is a story in itself, I still find myself with a bunch of other stories I want to tell due to other experiences and changes in my life etc. I got inspired to write Shangri-La and recorded it yesterday. Just another story to tell. In celebration of 10,000 fans, Shangri-La.

“Together” by Skizzy Mars
New Skizzy and I’m digging this ish. After listening to his tracks that have been dropped over the past year I am sold on his unique delivery, clean production, and overall uniqueness he brings to the table. Can’t wait for Skizzy to drop a mixtape soon these one track at a time deals are killing me.

“Dream Big & Run This Town” by Upper West
Some new NYC kids on the block that are bringing that freshness. On “Dream Big” they bring a unique flow and feel good vibe to the track accompanied by one of FOC favorite new artists Skizzy Mars. The second track “Run This Town” is a harder more upbeat track that I’m also feeling. Always in favor to hear that new goodness so check it out.

Some brand new Skizzy. Not his my favorite of his jams but the production is on point and the verses do the trick. This kid is definitely on to something and I don’t hate it.

“Profound” by Skizzy Mars
Heard this track this from this new artist Skizzy Mars and immediately felt the shit out of it. Well for one the beat is sick and I think also it is the way in which Skizzy can clearly convey his persona and cocky swagger through his lyrics and his delivery. Looking forward to hearing more from this guy. If you like this track I am also posting his song “Douchebag” which you also might fancy.
