“Stay (Branchez Bootleg)” by Rihanna Feat. Mikky Ekko

New York producer Branchez does up my favorite Top 40 jam of the moment with a Trap-meets-R&B mix and I am all about it. The vocals are slightly tampered with but the production more than makes up for the alteration with this must grab track that makes me wanna turn up and cry at the same time.

“Where Have You Been (Jr Blender Reggae Remix)” by Rihanna

With Summer in our faces this is an awesome track to to bump at the beach or to just get that island vibe. With big time producers now thinking it is cool to just casually put hard drops in Top 40 tracks…this Rihanna jam gets a much needed makeover that I feel improves the song with the reggae vibe making it feel way smoother and more natural. I know you can rage to the original but you also can to this track…you just need a rum punch and all is good no doubt.

“You Da One” by Rihanna

Mark my words: Rihanna’s second single off of her upcoming album, Talk That Talk “You Da One,” produced by THE hit-maker Dr. Luke and written by Ester Dean, is an absolute hit. The reggae infused beat, with a little dose of dubstep mixed with Rihanna’s vocals is so damn infectious that you will be putting this guy on repeat for no less than a day. It’s just so damn catchy it hooks you right in. I think I am on my 15th consecutive time listening to this track on my iTunes and I don’t think it’s going to slow down anytime soon.

“We Found Love (Prod. by Calvin Harris)” by Rihanna

Rihanna who virtually has virtually been crushing the charts with new singles for the past six years, shows no sign of slowing down with this new electro-fused banger. With the help of Calvin Harris on the production, Rihanna brings us the first single to her upcoming album due out on November 21. This is a guaranteed radio hit having the whole fam fist pumping for sure. Damn RiRi, you cray.

“All of the Lights” by Kanye West ft. Rihanna & Kid Cudi [Video]
Boy am I glad I decided to full screen the video before I started watching, it’s quite the visual spectacle. I was actually surprised that this turned out to be a pretty straight-forward music video. Although I’m not sure what the deal is with the little girl at the beginning…

“Only Girl (In The World)” by Ellie Goulding
I kinda feel like Ellie’s sweet vocals couldn’t quite keep up with the energy of the original. That being said, it is a much more mellow (romantic?) spin on Rihanna’s hit.
Shouts to sauce for bringing it to my attention and GMAD for the download link.

Techno Tuesday:…On Wednesday Sorry I’m Not Sorry

Yessirr the computer is finally back which means here is your way overdue fix of the past two weeks hottest techno jams. Prepare to be overwhelmed with so much fire burning techno that I am even starting to have an anxiety attack thinking about the amount of bangers I am about to post. With no further ado I bring to you this much needed techno explosion.
Note: Do not overlook any of these heaters, all of this shit is as hot as Marissa Miller on Conan last week…yeah that good.
Double Note: I am researching right now whether or not Edward Maya used an actual accordion or the piano-guitar up above to create the instrumental for “Stereo Love.” At first I thought it would be way cooler if he used an actual accordion, but then on second thought I realized that both instruments were equally ridiculous and therefore were awesome either way.
