OK so we all heard the solo Guetta/Taio Cruz version that was released last year of this track and if you were like me you thought to yourself that there was a lot left on the table for this track. But now David drops on us the final product with Ludacris on a verse? Hmmm I don’t hate it. Dave loves taking tracks to the HNL…straight up.

I’m gonna miss you Nate Dogg. Before there was T-Pain or Akon you were hip-hop’s go-to hook man. When I was back in seventh and eighth grade doing my thing with the ladies at Teen Center I would be lying if I didn’t say I took for granted your vocal abilities that collaborated with the likes of Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Ludacris, and 50 Cent. You were killing it and I just didn’t understand. But when I grew up and saw the likes of Akon and T-Pain who on a daily basis take advantage of the fact they can make a chart-topping song by singing four lines, I realized I had made a mistake. Not to take away from Akon and T-Pain who I totally respect as artists, but Nate Dogg made it cool to sing in hip-hop at a time where the genre was at it’s toughest. He made it ok to spark a light in a subject that was full of darkness. Before you know where your’re going you need to know where you are coming from. So to all the established hook-men of today and all you up-and-comers take a second of your day to reflect on the career of Nate Dogg and what he has done to better hip-hop. R.I.P. Nate Dogg, you will be missed.

I’m loving the back to back holiday techno specials right now. This week I got some nice party bangers as well as some mashup techno heaters I came across thanks to FNT from this dude Yoni who does a nice job mashing the hottest techno with some mainstream tracks. Nevertheless, these tracks will definitely get the party going. As 2010 comes to a close, be on the lookout for some end of the year lists we got coming your way…

Sidenote: This is pretty late but I just saw Tron Legacy on IMAX 3D and it is a must see for those who havent seen it. The IMAX 3D experience along with the Daft Punk soundtrack was unbelievable. Tron is definitely one of those movies that won’t be half as good watching in your living room so go out and do it right so you can experience the awesomeness yourself.

This souped-up remix of the original song makes it a much more high-energy track while still keeping Ciara’s seductive vocals in tact.

This is the remix that the original song was waiting for. The original beat was dope but a little on the simple side and this track touches it up a little to add some depth. Unfortunately, the bass doesn’t seem to be hitting as low down as it did on the original version. Still, a nice track with a star-studded cast that you should definitely add to your collection.
