“Dose of Dopeness” by Kid Cudi (Prod. By Dot Da Genius)

Yesss my good old friend Cudi is finally back. As the release of WZRD is just around the corner he released yesterday this track which has been floating around since 2008 but has become somewhat of a myth to Cudi fans as what it actual purpose or if it would ever be officially released. To everyone’s surprise Cudi dropped the CDQ yesterday and it is dope. Cudi’s flow is reminiscent of his A Kid Named Cudi days and I am feeling the shit out of this. Although I know that WZRD is somewhat of a far cry away from this sound stints like these assure his fans that although his sound may have changed for now (and not necessarily for the worse) at heart Mr. Rocker is still Mr. Rager.

Kid Cudi Performs “Teleport 2 Me” In Full In Australia (Video)
Cudi, one of the headliners of the Heatwave Festival in South Australia two days ago debuted the full version of his upcoming single, “Teleport 2 Me” and although this is obviously not CDQ it sounds dope as hell and I can’t wait for the official release of the single. Cudi also announced today that he is delaying the release of his upcoming album, WZRD from January 30 to February 28 which is a bummer but I think is a power move in building more and more hype for this project for his fans and it is a smart marketing move for Scott. Looking forward to hearing more tracks from the project and I am keeping my fingers crossed and keeping hope that it will be worth the wait.

“Ride 4 U” by The Far East Movement Feat. Kid Cudi & Chip Tha Ripper

Real dope chill track that sounds more like Kid Cudi featuring The Far East Movement and Chip Tha Ripper than vice versa but it’s all good. I am real stoked for Kid Cudi to get back on top of his game, especially now with HBO “How To Make It In America” so he has absolutely no excuse not to go in on his ish in regards to the music sphere. This one feels nice with a little hint of that electro Far East Movement sound so enjoy yo’ self with this one.

“Teleport 2 Me” by WZRD (Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius) (Snippet)

Here is a snippet of WZRD’s debut single, “Teleport 2 Me” and I am definitely fuxin’ wit it. To me it essentially sounds like Kid Cudi’s interpretation of an R&B track which I am vibing with and it’s got a nice sample of Desire’s “Under Your Spell” from the movie Drive which was my jam…definitely gets this track nice. Love to see that goodness from my old friend Scott Mescudi and I now have hope for this project due out in January.

“Maniac” by Kid Cudi (Short Film)
Watching this video made me think about the complicated relationship I have with Cudi at the moment. As of late I have been frustrated with Scott with his poor attempts to dive into Rock and the creation of his Wizard project, not to mention collaborating with Willow Smith on her upcoming album. Then he goes and does something as cool, and edgy and sick as this and it gets me thinking about all the reasons why I love the guy. I love those man because when it comes to being an artists he is so impossibly transcendent, casually walking in and out of cultural spheres without batting an eye and being totally comfortable. He is constantly pushing himself as an artist in all aspects and I respect the hell out of that. So can his attempt of being a sober rock star pushing be considered pushing himself as an artists and I am just hating because it has not panned out the way I wanted. Am I a hypocrite? Not sure but Cudi keep doing this kind of stuff because it’s your comfort zone to push the comfort zone.
Directed by Shia Lebouf and co-starring Cage this concept short film based off of the track on Man on The Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager and let me tell you this is some f’ed up ish…essentially fish if you will. Crazy concept of a camera crew following Cudi and Cage as serial killers that is pretty dark stuff so WARNING before you casually watch this with some youngin’s. Happy Halloween erry’ body

“No One Believes Me” by Kid Cudi (Video)
I know I am a minute late on this one but here is the video for his new track to be featured in the new horror movie Fright Night. The track is solid definitely better than Cudi’s recent rock escapades and the video is pretty dark and twisted to check that ish out.

“Angels & Demons” by Kid Cudi

Here is some unreleased Cudi from a little while back that was supposed be on MOTM2 and also feature the Clipse which would have made this track fireee. This song is still above and beyond better than any of the most recent Cudi I’ve heard off his upcoming Rock album, Wizard so for that I am grateful. Please enjoy some of the good Scott Mescudi before Wizard turns out like Albus Dumbledore at the end of HP 6. That’s right Mikey I threw out a Harry Potter reference, what you know about that.

“Marijuana (Video) & Perfect is the Word” by Kid Cudi
Above are the visuals for the track “Marijuana” off of MOTM2, mostly showing all of Cudi and his crew’s shenanigans in Amsterdam when he performed at the Cannabis Cup in 2010. Apparently the video was directed by Shia LeBeouf which is incredibly random but good for Louis Stevens. I also have posted what is supposed to be the first track with his new rock band Wizard, on the album titled as of now, 2 Be Continuum. As my buddy Joe said this track tests my Cudi allegiance but Cudi and I go back way too long to just drop him now, although Cudi says he is “moving forward” I hope for his sake he brings some of his old complex style and beats with him or he will be moving alone.
