“Lay It Down (Remix)” by Lloyd ft. B.o.B.

Dope upbeat remix to an R&B jam with a slick B.o.B. verse, who apparently has some issues with Delta Airlines which he should work out. I am also adding a nice southern remix with my dudes 8Ball and MJG who love their outfits, as well as the official remix with Kells and Jeezy. It all depends on your steez which one you will like better, but in my opinion they are all fire tracks.

“Lose My Mind (Remix)” by Young Jeezy ft. Drake

Fresh on Campus

When I saw this performance live at the BET awards, my immediate reaction was to jump online to see if I had somehow missed this hot track when it dropped. However, the performance was a world premier and the .mp3 version of this hot collaboration just surfaced today.

I can tell from my reaction to the performance that this song is going to be hot, and I know you’ll all agree.

“All White Everything” by Young Jeezy

Fresh on Campus

Jeezy goes all Birdman on this track. What does “going all Birdman” mean you ask? I’m glad you asked.

You see, Birdman has limited talent as a rapper. When he visits the studio and isn’t busy making bird noises in the back of a Lil Wayne song, he doesn’t rap in the traditional sense. Instead, he usually just simply lists fancy objects. Cars, guns, clothes, drugs. Just lists.

These items normally have an adjective, to help describe them for the listener. And occasionally there’s a verb or two in there to spice things up.

“Louis lens, iced up with the black diamonds, cartier, ferrari, the new spyder… fully loaded, automatic six benz, candy paint, foreign lights with my bitch in…” -Money to Blow

“Hustling, doing doughnuts in the Lam’, candy on the slab, 50 on the Ave, 100 on the crib, get it how you live, stunting on these bitches, red diamonds how I feel…” -I Run This

Enjoy!

“Unforgettable” by Drake ft Jeezy

FoC

So this is officially the third track to leak from Drizzy’s upcoming album “Thank Me Later” which is scheduled to be released in about 3 weeks on June 15th. Mark you calendars.

My little brother is predicting that this album is going to blow away Weezy’s record of 1,000,000 copies sold in the first week (platinum status).

As Drake famously said in his first hit single:

When my album drop bitches will buy it for the picture
and n*ggas will buy it too and claim they got it for they sister

What do you think?

Young Jeezy “Trap or Die 2″ [mixtape]

Young Jeezy’s mixtape “Trap or Die 2″ debuted yesterday on Live Mixtapes. Jeezy used to be one of my favorite rappers back in high school but now I think that all of his stuff sounds the same so he’s kind of fallen off in my book.

Still, he seems to have found an equation for making tracks that brings him success — in 24 hours his mixtape has gotten nearly a +3500 rating over at LMT. Check it out:

PS: Did I hear a “Lil Wayne is over!” line?? I sense a feud coming…

PPS: I guess Jeezy decided to being the ‘Young’ back into his name? Whatever, we’re keeping him filed under Jeezy for now…

“Greatest Trapper Alive” by Jeezy

What do you do when you rap, but the title of “Greatest Rapper Alive” has already been taken by someone else? In Jeezy’s case, just throw a T on the front ‘Rapper’ and call it a day.

This leak from the man who popularized the phrase ‘trap or die’ comes from his upcoming album “Trap or Die Vol. II”.
