“N*ggas In Paris” by Jay Z & Kanye West (Video)
Official visuals for this banger off of Watch The Throne just released and these right here are ridacalus. A combination of sick live footage from the Watch The Throne tour, trippy and seizure-inducing kaleidoscope effects, as well as some other random ish makes this video cray for sure. Pretty dope stuff and definitely the only track I’d skate to with my friends from France…I’m just sayin’.

Kanye West and Jay-Z Perform “Ni**as in Paris” at ‘Victoria Secret Fashion Show’ (Video)
This is an awesome video. I especially love this performance because the performance in itself represents one of the themes of Ye and Hov’s Watch The Throne: hip-hop’s infiltration in the culture of today’s high society. A classy and lavish spectacle such as the Victoria Secret Fashion Show is the perfect medium in the eyes of these icons to perform, nevertheless their track titled, “Ni**as In Paris.” I don’t know what’s funnier: the models and the people and the crowd’s reactions and dancing to the performance, or the huge smiles on Kanye and Jay’s faces because they know they are winning in every aspect of their lives, and the fact this performance took place confirms just how ridiculously locked in these rap moguls are in American popular culture. Although transparent to the audience, these guys are smiling because their staple as cultural icons is being shoved right in their face and they are loving every second of it.

“I Do” by Young Jeezy Feat. Jay-Z & Andre 3000

Here is the highly anticipated track off of Jeezy’s upcoming Thug Motivation:103 Hustlerz Ambition The track is pretty much what you expect from these three, just some classy goodness. I love me some Andre 3 Stacks so I may be bias when I say he kills his verse but chances are he definitely did. It’s that good good so go and cop it.

“Otis” by Kanye West & Jay Z (Video)
On the first line of the track, Hov claims, “[he] invented swag.” I actually might believe him. In this Spike Jonze-directed video Ye’ and Jay chop up a Maybach, turn it into a sick Batmobile-esque contraption if you will and just wild out. The boys look like they are straight enjoyin’ themselves in the clip and I don’t hate it. The dudes are just bosses of the game and don’t know what to do with themselves…doesn’t sound real but for them it’s as real as it gets.

“Otis” by Jay-Z & Kanye West

Some more from Ye’ and Jay’s Watch The Throne coming out online August 1st. Kanye goes to his old school ways on the production and crushes the Otis Redding sample, definitely making this track a step up from “H.A.M.” I’m hoping the album lives up to the hype but we’ll soon enough.

Some R&B To Keep You Smooth on Sunday
After a beautiful weekend killing it in Barcelona, fatigue was at an all time high on my travels back to Rome. As I was passing out on the plane today I saw this new track “The Moon and The Sky (Remix)” by Sade featuring Jay-Z on my iPod and I have to say I loved it. This track is a soothing R&B banger that made my flight that much more enjoyable as well as Jay’s verse adding a sick twist to your usual easy listening R&B track.
If your down for some R&B on this recovery Sunday you need to check out this sick “Shut It Down/Fancy” cover above by Brian Puspos and JR Aquino. Brian happens to be my boy Chris’ cousin and a very talented singer/dancer. Brian and JR crush this medley with their crooning vocals. So, this is the Dean telling you to listen to these tracks, kick back, and stay leisurely.

“H.A.M.” by Kanye West & Jay-Z

The two titans team up for the first single off of their joint album, Watch the Throne, coming soon. Not sure if I’m totally feeling this one, but you’d be crazy to not be excited for the entire album.
