Crushing Academia at Club Dean

So tonight is the first night here in Rome where I have had to actually stay in because of school work, and let me tell you I was/am still not happy about it. However, like back at school I realized that there is only way to get through the grind of school work, and that is to bump fire beats. Thus, I am currently at Club Dean courtesy of Beats by Dr. Dre bumping some fire new tracks that just dropped today. First off is Avicii’s brand new track “Fuck the Music” which is an absolutely killer, then Diplo puts a unique heavy-yet-not-quite-dubstep spin on Kelly Rowland and Weezy’s track “Motivation” which is a banger fo’ sho. Lastly, my boys Spencer & Hill have just come out with a fireee new club track that I am sure I will hear out in the next few weeks. I know it is still early stateside but someone needs to get on my level right now with these blazing tracks, sorry I’m not sorry.

If you’re a Diplo fan, you’ll probably love this. It might be too quirky and chaotic for some, but it’s got some enough dope pieces to give it the nod. It took me a few listens to really get into it.

How do people feel about Diplo? Is he crazy? This is the description he put up on his blog when he posted this:

Derek from sleigh bellz and me have matching florida tattoos and we both are from shitty parts of broward county // & their last album was one of the sickest of ’10 .. its soo sick, its gave me a stomach ache .. half lyrnyrd skinnard half bangladesh half man half alligator.. . me and derek and alexis are bros and sis for life. in fact i like sleigh bells so much .. me and switch was in studio in nyc tryin to make tracks with derek and beyonce last week after we played her team their album .. dunno if we gonna manage to finish but was good times. I started this mix for them like a year ago but it took derek about 6 months to send stems so it was kinda in remix limbo but i really wanted to get it out to u guys cause i think the bass and the drums sounds nice and u can play it at your next party.

“C’mon (Catch Em By Surprise)” by Tiesto vs. Diplo feat. Busta Rhymes

Not the biggest Busta fan but this is a solid track that will definitely be appearing at a party near you. This collaboration is also further evidence that techno has hit mainstream faster than Micky Ward’s head-body, head-body combo.
