Hello world, it’s the Dean here apologizing for the lack of posts in the past few days. As you may recall in last week’s Techno Tuesday I traveled to Barcelona for my birthday for a long weekend this past weekend and was unable to get to a computer while I was over there. With that being said, I deeply apologize for not keeping the FOC oath true providing daily music and I promise our fans will not go this long without new music again.

Anyways, Britney’s next single dropped off her upcoming album Femme Fatale and shit is fire. Britney is taking techno/pop-electro’s movement into the mainstream to her full advantage creating dance floor heaters. Dr. Luke and Max Martin, the brilliant instant hit-making producers of the track know if you have great female vocals plus great production you have a hit. Sooo in equation form, Britney + bumpin electro beat = love tooo.

“Hold It Against Me (Remix)” by Britney Spears ft. Flo Rida

Can’t say that I am surprised that Flo Rida is on the remix. This track has blown up like crazy and flew to the top of the iTunes charts like nobody’s business. I don’t hate it though…this song is fire.

“Telephone” by ….Britney Spears?

Saw this story over at PMA and had to repost it here. Apparently the song “Telephone” which most of us know as a slick collaboration between two of the biggest female singers of our generation was actually written for the biggest female singer of yesteryear.

Apparently, Britney Spears decided to turn down the song after recording and producing a studio version of it, and it was then snapped up by Lady Gaga and Beyonce. I prefer the beat and flow of the Gaga/Beyonce version, but I’ll let you be the judge.
