“First Off” by Aziz

Fresh on Campus

Aziz gave us a preview of this track when he stopped by a few weeks back. Here’s the final, mastered freestyle and it’s pretty dope.

As he mentioned in his interview, Aziz thinks that dubstep tracks are gunna be a good look. He goes in over “Cockney Thug (Caspa Remix)” by Rusko.

Shouts to F2DD for the mp3 version.

Fresh on Campus Interview with Aziz

As I mentioned earlier, Aziz stopped by Fresh on Campus HQ last week to do an interview, drop off some music and just chill out up in Vacationland. In the interview, Aziz talks about how he got started out, his group M.A.C. and how that formed and going to school at Brandeis in the fall. He also gives some tips for other artists that are trying to start out and shares his thoughts on dubstep, Sam Adams and being honest in your music.

This dude knows what he’s doing and he’s got a lot of lyrical talent and the creativity to use it well. His upcoming mixtape Leave Me Az Iz is going to be sick and we’ll bring that to you when it officially drops. In the meantime, check out the interview and his website and Facebook for more.

PS: This is our first Fresh on Campus interview so don’t hate on the quality.

UPDATE: Forgot to mention that Aziz’s music video for Power in Attention will be dropping this weekend. You already know where you can find it.

“Sneakers & Piffery” by Aziz

Fresh on Campus

Aziz stopped by the Fresh on Campus HQ on Friday to do an interview with us and drop off some new music. I’m still working on editing the footage, but enjoy this track in the meantime. He also let us check out some stuff that we can’t release yet but let me just say that this kid is going to be on a lot of people’s radars very soon, so you better get familiar now. And be on the look out for more from his group, M.A.C.

“Praying For Rain” by Aziz ft. Pettibone

Fresh on Campus

This nice chill track seems to have gotten lost in BroBible’s summer mixtape that came out a few weeks back. Aziz shows his versatility with some slow rhymes and story-telling mixed with Pettibone’s raw vocals on the hook.

Put this in your chill mix, and then check out Aziz’s Facebook for more.

“Power in Attention” by Aziz

Fresh on Campus

Holy shit this dude is fire. He might not be making as much buzzing as some of the other underground college rappers, but he definitely deserves the attention. He goes in on this beat and spits for almost 6 minutes straight with no hooks and no stops. Its too early to start dropping comparisons to Lupe and Talib, but all I’ll say is give it a listen and tell me you’re not impressed with his potential.
