Its the 1st of April and we all know what that means, but let me assure you this mixtape is no joke. Fresh on Campus is proud to bring you the first major release from 1-2 Kidz.

We profiled them earlier this week and since then, their “UConn Girls” track has been the most downloaded item from our site. These guys rep UConn, UNH, and RPI and take dorm room rapping to a whole nother level.

Everything about their tracks feels like grade-A rap music and you definitely don’t wanna miss being one of the first to know about these guys. Cop the mixtape here.

FoC Presents 12Kidz

Alright, so I’m all about giving credit where credit is due for the Honor Code and whatnot, so I gotta thank El Prez for this one. But I’m pretty sure we’re the first music blog to pick up on these kids.

I’ve heard many dorm-room rappers before but these guys seem to stand out. From what I can tell, they produce their own beats some of the time (not badly either) and also remake other people’s tracks. The lyrics are clever but the similes don’t seem overly forced. The content is the usual smoking ganj and staying fly, but I think these boys have a potential to see a Sam Adams-esque explosion if they hit gold on a track.
