“All White Everything” by Young Jeezy
Jeezy goes all Birdman on this track. What does “going all Birdman” mean you ask? I’m glad you asked.
You see, Birdman has limited talent as a rapper. When he visits the studio and isn’t busy making bird noises in the back of a Lil Wayne song, he doesn’t rap in the traditional sense. Instead, he usually just simply lists fancy objects. Cars, guns, clothes, drugs. Just lists.
These items normally have an adjective, to help describe them for the listener. And occasionally there’s a verb or two in there to spice things up.
“Louis lens, iced up with the black diamonds, cartier, ferrari, the new spyder… fully loaded, automatic six benz, candy paint, foreign lights with my bitch in…” -Money to Blow
“Hustling, doing doughnuts in the Lam’, candy on the slab, 50 on the Ave, 100 on the crib, get it how you live, stunting on these bitches, red diamonds how I feel…” -I Run This
